| CHRIS BERGMAN – President
I have a very deep interest in the success of Texas Communications. I have been with the company since 1981, so I have a great deal of time invested in my career through them. I have done most every job within the company, beginning as an installer and moving up through the company to bench technician, system technician, service manager, shop manager at two locations, and finally my current role as President of the corporation. I appreciate the opportunity this company has given me and appreciate its philosophy to do right by the customer and always take a genuine interest in their needs and concerns.
I acquired most of my skills from practical learning experiences. I gained my theory in electronics from the Mobile Technology Institute, earning a certification that required two years of school to complete. I have been involved in many factory training certification programs over the years as new technologies and systems have emerged. I hold a FCC General Operators License and ETA Certifications passing the AST and WCM-USMSS certification tests.
JIM SHELDON – Vice President, Texas Communications of Bryan, Inc.
Attended Texas A&M University from august 1984 until may 1988 in search of a Computer Science Degree. I was working part time at Texas Communications and decided to dedicate myself full time and pay off my student loans. I have been a part of the Texas Communications family since that time. Over the years I have been involved in several factory training programs and received many technical certifications not only in the Private Wireless Industry but in the IP & Networking Industry as well.
Over the years with this company I have worked my way up from an equipment installer to an Executive Officer. I am proud of my accomplishments and happy to be with a company that notices the value to promote from within. That same pride is evident in my attention to customer service and the expectations I place on my shop location.
CHARLES “BUZ” WOJTEK – Vice President, Texas Communications of San Angelo, Inc.
Buz Wojtek (Pronounced – Voytek) joined Texas Communications in 1975 after an enlistment in the U. S. Air Force were he received his electronics background. He moved to San Angelo in 1977 to open the Texas Communications facility there and has been there ever since.
Buz has served on the board of directors of the USMSS, a national organization of Motorola Service Shops and the board of the Texas Association of Paging Carriers."
RODNEY GOODMAN – Shop Manager, Texas Communications of Austin, Inc.
I came to Texas Communications, in 2003, after a long run as a network wide systems technician in the Nationwide Paging Carrier Industry. Surviving merger after merger I was able to remain in the same employment, just under new ownership, for 16 years. Working in a large scale network environment greatly broadened my skills and ability. I hold a FCC General Operators License and worked as a service technician in the private wireless industry for 5 years before entering the world of Large Carrier Paging. It has been good to come back to my roots with Texas Communications and I look forward to my work and the chance to contribute to the company and it's customers. |
